<p>O&#8217;Donnell took over the starting quarterback duties in the fourth quarter against McKendree on Sept. 25 and never looked back. In starting just six games under center, O&#8217;Donnell completed 105-of-188 passes for 1,420 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 96 times for a team-best 686 yards and seven scores. As a wide receiver to start the year, O&#8217;Donnell caught 21 passes for 154 yards.</p>
<p>2011</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, moved to wide receiver after earning second-team all-conference honors as a quarterback last year. Only appearing in four games due to injury, O&#8217;Donnell still led the team with 24 receptions for 445 yards and seven touchdowns. He was on pace to challenge many of the SAU single-season receiving records before going down in the fourth game of the year. O&#8217;Donnell caught at least four passes and a touchdown in every game. He went over 100 yards receiving three times, including a seven-catch, 162-yard, three-touchdown performance against nationally-ranked Saint Francis, Ind.</p>
